Glympse -Share your location App Reviews

Love it, but please, oh please add option functionality to extend indefinitely for spouses, etc. Otherwise, I will stick with "Find My Friends".

I love this app but it always crashes!!!

Dont waste your time with this app. Every time my daughter sends me her location it runs about 5 minutes then freezes up and nothing you can do except bother her while she is driving to see if she can resend it. Twice it looked like she ran off the freeway and crashed. Satellite view showed her car in the bushes next to a overpass and froze up so car not moving. This app causes you to worry more then not knowing where she is. DONT GET IT!!!!!

I dont like the fact that it reports your location even when you arent using the app. Its too invasive and a drain on the battery.

I also cant figure out why some people give this app bad ratings. This is the first app out of many that Ive ever rated because I feel it needs it. Perfect little simple app. Does just what it says surprisingly well and all for free. A+

This is a GPS app that doesnt give you directions. If thats not useless, I dont know what is.

This bllsht app now activates the GPS when it is in the background, not just when it needs it. This is utterly unacceptable. This USED to be a really handy app that I would recommend to folks. No longer.

I used to use an old app called Instamapper that is no longer around. Switched to Glympse and I love it. I use this every day when I meet a friend for breakfast. He knows exactly when I will arrive and isnt sitting there wondering if he should eat without me. I like that the location updates are frequent, and that there is only a few seconds delay for the viewer. It really does the job well and doesnt completely drain the battery. Its also nice that you can set the timer for how long you want to share.

I LOVE this app and not sure why I havent written a review before. I use it all of the time. The nice thing is, YOU control who can see your location and for how long. Once it expires, they no longer can see your location. Apple has the Find Friends app but its either they can see you location 24/7 or not at all. With Glympse, you have complete control. And you can enter your destination so they can see your ETA. You can customize the messages and they can even see how fast youre going. Its useful because when Im in traffic, I tell them, look at Glympse and they see Im going 11 mph LOL! I LOVE this app and couldnt recommend it more. I hope the app developers leave it just as it is and not fix something that isnt broke! Its great!

I dont know what is going on with this app but every time I use it, it freezes where the person is but the time keeps running. It does says when was the last update but thats it. I have tried closing the app and reopen the link, I have reloaded it, it is annoying... Its not a reliable app. Please fix it or give us a way to overpass this issue. Thank You!

We use the app whenever we bring children home from school and parents use it to see how close we are coming to the dropoff location so that they can figure time to go there. Now, the problem is that we drive 3 - 5 hours and we sometime forgot to refresh the gps cuz it lasts only up to 4 hours. We would like to see it increases to 6 hours instead of 4 hours.
