We had a linked account, and I had this Glympse to keep tabs on my kid whenever no spouse and I went on vacations. One morning, I woke up next to her on her iPhone with lots of love emojis scrolling on her messenger app, with a broad smile on her face which she tried to hide. We've been married for 7 years. I won't feign total innocence, marriage is hard if you ask me. I wanted to know who she sent the love emojis to so I reached out to Kelvin email seen from an advert on the AppStore. I wrote to his email at Techguruspy247 @ GMAILCOM. He notified me about the services that he offers. I had a pick of the services that I wanted and I carefully explained what I wanted to get done. He assured me of full access to her phone so I proceeded to pay for his services. Eventually, I saw who she kept exchanging love emojis with on her Facebook messenger app. I went on to see more from other social media apps like Snapchat, Instagram, iMessage, call history and all of the dating websites that she signed up on. She was actively in two relationships! It felt like I had her phone in my hand! Nothing's quite as humbling as realizing that your significant other was unfaithful because of her high school crush! Believe me, I never in a million years would have found out about this. The scary part is that this was happening under my nose. Thank you Kelvin for doing this.

I have not been able to get it to recognize my email address after numerous successful verifications. I'm done!

Super good app with great tracking if used properly, a little slow but for a free application that’s universal it gets the job done.

Please restore the on-screen counter that shows at a glance how many people have clicked on your link. It’s just not safe to be tapping on my phone to determine this whilst driving.

I used to use your app and found it useful but I stopped as I can’t figure out hit to make it work. When you first started you had a much better idea about now to get people onto using the app.

So easy to use I can send a Glympse while pedaling my bike to let my wife know where I am in my ride.

Never would allow your to sh are more than 12 hours. Now constantly asks for email confirmation and won’t accept a valid answer. No contact or tech support in app or on website.

2024 December Update: Not sure when this happened, but Glympse no longer sends your location unless it is running in the foreground. This makes it near useless to me now. Typically I’d send the Glympse to my family and then pull up my map app for the trip. Letting Glympse run in the background, so I could navigate highways and traffic with my favorite traffic app. Bummer. Looking for alternatives now. Dropping rating by a star so now rating it at a 3 star app. 2021 Update: My old review below had a request for creating a Glympse for more than 4 hours, they have done that. Not sure which update created this but now the app shows every recipient as NEVER VIEWED even if they have viewed. I get the notifications if they check the link, but the app continues to show them as NEVER VIEWED. A software fix is required. Love it. Would like to see the ability create a longer time. 4 hours is not enough sometimes. After a recent update, when sending a Glympse via txt, the app says it was sent, but it really wasn't. If I reboot my phone, it starts working properly again--for a time. Then reverts to inaccurate "Glympse sent" messages.

Why is it now so hard to have a frequent contact on the center button? Originally you list someone to send a Glympse and it’s saved ready for next time. NOW it’s many steps to accomplish the same task. What an in credible time waster. I would reset to 5 stars if it weren’t for this incredibly lousy interface. O, And I’d fire the designer

Great and very good tool to help to track and the arrival of guest.

My wife and I have been using Glympse for years. It was a great app. A recent update made it less friendly. Now we cannot find where or how to stop sharing before the share time is elapsed. Also, for the first time ever, it gave me a dialog box that said sharing will only occur while Glympse is in the foreground. So I was driving and constantly making sure it stayed on in the foreground. I never had to think about that before. Overall, I think Glympse updates location more frequently than Apple’s FindMy so Glympse is very useful.

Nice app for tracking family on trips. Not a easy way to stop sharing with the newer version. Go back to the older way of doing stopping sharing.

My family and I have been using Glympse for about 8 years. We have never wanted to use Life360, but have peace of mind by knowing where we all are when we are traveling, especially my siblings and I to and from college. Since we have a decent sized family, I usually share my location with 8-10 people. This new update only displays the most recent 5 people, which is inconvenient since we all send our locations to more than 5 people. It is also difficult to search for the people I send my location to as my contacts are NOT in alphabetical order on this app. This has made it incredibly more difficult and inconvenient to find everyone I send my location to since this update. I can search for each person’s name, but the process of adding everyone I need to used to take 5-10 seconds, and now takes well over a minute or two. This new update is also confusing to navigate for my family. It is NOT user friendly anymore and we are considering finding a new app to share our location with.

My favorite feature is how you disabled the Help & Feedback button so you can’t hear any complaints about your absolutely insane premium tier.

I now understand this is a rather restrictive "navigation" appI that pre-determines a route. This restriction does not meet my need for an app that simply indicates my location without presumptive route "clutter". I need to inform another only my current location--not upon an app-determined route as the app's solution is most likely not my intent. I ride a mountain bike upon trails: even when choosing the bike icon; the app indicates dots upon most-direct roads to a destination I eventually intend to get to upon multiple select trails. So, sharing my location data that is laid upon an assumed route misleads the tag receiver. This can also apply to anyone who might be out for a joy-ride such as with family who might go to s movie, than a restaurant not yet predetermined and then shopping, etc; too much to preload!. If the app allows one to remove the predetermined route--I haven't found how to control that feature via extensive time in the online manual and searches to include whether the paid version of the app provides that capability. So, I'll go elsewhere for an app that simply provides location!

I used to use Glympse all the time, but with other options I don’t use it as often. Today I tried to use it and it just crashes after less than 10 seconds after launch. Tried over ten times and same result, it just crashes after a few seconds of use on an iPhone 15 pro max.

The app lets you generate a link to share your location for a set period of time. I use it when I’m meeting up with folks, so they can see how close I am. Much easier and safer than trying to use my phone while driving.

We use this app in ballooning for almost every flight. Perfect for tracking crew and flight information!

This is great for sharing location with business colleagues as I am on the way to meetings. Temporarily shares your location.

It was really convenient to be able to see speed at a glance when looking at the map. Having to click on the icon makes this more difficult.

I use Glympse to show my babysitter when I’m on my way to get the kids. My friend also sends me their location to let me know how far they are so I’m sure to be ready when they come pick me up. It’s helpful!

We have used Glympse for several years as a surveillance team. It has been great up until the recent update. The large bubble icon and the blue tracking lines that follow every team member have made it more difficult to use. Please offer an option to remove the blue lines. Other than that Glympse has been a great tool for us to keep track of one another while working.

Had to turn off notifications because they were sent by the app every few seconds when someone opened my glympse link to view it. Annoying. Also all info used to be easy to see at once. Someone’s location, speed and seconds since last update were all in one place. I still can’t figure out how to conveniently view that info since the update. Don’t mess with a good thing! Didn’t need a “sleeker” ui. Just need an app that works and glympse used to belong in that category.

I updated to the latest version and now when I send someone a Glympse, I receive constant notifications that the person I sent it to has read/opened my Glympse. It’s very distracting as it constantly pops up on screen every 1-5 seconds. Please fix this issue

Great app for sending location info to my clients However, it was more useful when it integrated with CarPlay. Please add CarPlay back into the app

This app works extremely well. One observation is that it's complicated to add another person to my circle. Please advise on this concern. Thank you!

Love this app. Also a great way to actually see if someone is on their way when they tell you they are but are actually in the shower.

They say it uses GPS when out of cellular range. It does not. When you have no cellular signal it freezes and stops updating location.

This app is exactly what I need for my business, the only problem is when I click on the button to link my Evernote account nothing happens, I’ve tried on multiple peoples phones, and every time I click on the link Evernote nothing happens. Please fix this asap

I was a good ok app. However, the app stayed open for 2 hours. Meaning it was sharing my location for those hours and then it stopped. My kiddos were tracking me on my 8 hour drive and got worried when they didn’t see it anymore. When I got half was to my destination to put gas in my car. I looked on my phone to see that I had one that was there. I feel dumb for downloading this app. I know better next time.

For several years I was able to successfully link Glympse to Twitter. Try as I may as of late (iPhone 13 ProMax with iOS 16.3.1), I cannot move beyond the Join (link social media account) screen, as the app will not navigate beyond the Log In prompt (click the Log In link and nothing happens). Is it just me?

I enjoy sharing my travels with family of my travels. It helps them know where I am & that I am safe & when I will arrive!

I love this app. Before any of the “Find My” stuff this app was a simple way for you to see where people were and where they were on the road great app.

Very useful, I love using this app. And I like that you can select how long you share your location. The only setback is that I wish the app would ask you at least 2 or 3 more times if you want to view somebody’s location 🙄

My family and I use this when we are on walks and when we drive. It helps us to be on the lookout for one another. It works well and does what it supposed to and brings a sense of comfort.

Do not get this app. It is terrible. They give you the option to delete your account but it actually doesn’t work. I tried to find methods on their support website, not helpful. Tried to contact them but there is no email, called them but it is a voicemail. What a scam.

Love this app! We are fulltime RVers and this allows us to let the whole family know when and where we're traveling.

So glad I can do this so my parents know I made my long trips home so they don’t have to keep asking where I’m at and how much longer. The speed is a snitch but that’s fine y’all wanna know everything right we’ll go on and watch me vroom vroom to Indiana from Florida!

I wish more people would use Glympse so we won’t have to hear folks screaming their location on their phones.

Not real time at all. Got home from a bike ride and my wife still saw me two miles away. There are better location apps out there.

It puts my mind at ease when my daughter is travelling. Love it.

Used this to give family peace of mind as I took a solo cross-country motorcycle ride.

The app gives an error about not being able to delete my phone number. No easy way to contact support, so leaving this review.

My daughter and I want to share each other’s location but I only see myself. She sent me a request but I don’t understand how it works. Life360 app is better.
